I wouldn't assume that SOE is loosing money. I would have reason to believe that Core Combat is less than what they expected.

I learned not to put a lot of hope into Expansions after playing Everquest for 4+ years. But, I must add, that as far as expansions go I never saw nothing like this in EQ.

But, I'm not playing EQ anymore.
