Mouse Sensitivity for Sniping

I picked up sniping a few weeks ago and have been steadily getting better at bringing down the elusive moving target. However, one of my problems has been mouse sensitivity.

I use a Logitech mx700 wireless optical mouse. When playing other games and on the internet, I can move the mouse just slightly, very slowly, and it will pick up the movement with precision, which it should (after all, it is an mx sensor). But when playing PS, even with mouse sensitivity set to maximum, it will not pick up slight movements and is not sensitive enough for sniping.

Is there anyway to override the mouse settings in PS and get it to be as sensitive and precise as it is when playing other games? This would make sniping much easier.
