Well, I'm using 3dna's 3d desktop. Check it out. You can move around and jump in it.
This screenshot shows off 4 pictures in my interactive 3d desktop  The Republic See's All   More Picture Frames.  Some more pictures along the staircase   Shortcut center. Everything here can be a shortcut.  The interesting Browser wall. Can hold a bunch of websites shortcuts, AND can be refreshed and show a screen capture.    Media Wall. It has volume control (both) voice recorder, can launch winamp from here... (this desktop auto-detects your default set programs, so If I have winamp for music it launches winamp when I click the play button, and when I hit the WEB button it launched mozilla firebird)  www.3dna.com I use the free version, I has alot of features for shareware.
