Combining Servers

For some time now I have had this idea, and I think it has become dearly needed for the following reason(s):
When Planetside was first brought up by the Sony devs it was suppose to be a massive online FPS, massive as in thousands of people. What most people don't know is that each server was to hold upwards of 50,000 people at a time, so it didn't matter what time of day of the week you played because there would always be people on. This was eventually scrapped because there were so many bugs that most of the people who tried it out stopped playing and Planetside gets made fun of and laughed at by every show that has to do with videogames. The most infamous of those being XPlay, who gave PS a 2 out of 5. In the few hours during the school week I have time to play I spend about half of it trying to find a worthwhile battle, and I just don't find them that chaotic when I get to them. I think that once they have the problems with the patches fixed and everything updated they should combine Markov and Emerald into one server so the problem of a deserted continent would go away forever. Please tell me what you think of this idea.
