Metabolic water

I have a take home test due tomorrow. One of the questions asks for us to explain the process of metabolic water.

Due to the fact that it's a metabolic function, i already know it has something to do with a catalyzed reaction between an enzyme and a substrate. What I need to know is where in the cell it occurs and any details that might be useful in answering the question.

I can't find ANY reference to metabloic water in the text (both enzyme and cellular respiration chapters) or in our notes.

Just so people know, metabolic water is how animals like desert rats survive in the desert.
