Ignore feature ninja patch?

I was reading the serpus thread when I noticed a certain poster who is on my ignore list had been quoted. I looked and looked but could not find his post or the little section that says said poster had made a post and asks if you would like to remove him from your ignore list. After going to user CP and taking him off my ignore list I could see the post just fine. I put him back on the list and the post just dissapeared again.

Am I missing something or did the ignore feature get a ninja patch?

If it did, I like it.
