Here a run down of why we pwn.

We started off with 20 bucks of candy. Went do midevil times (T-ray "BOOOOO OTHER KNIGHTS"" *go yellow knights )

Next day we went to epcot, and I know at least my group (flynt, strygun, cronosphere, OMA, Electrofreak) were just laughing our asses off all day.

That night we went to the doubletree resort and the devs hosted a dinner for us. We ate with them, and bugged them about things :P and then we went to the next room and we did a live ask the devs (devs got gift boxes too ) T-ray gave away a signed 20 bucks to marsman. (random drawing)

Sunday, we all went to universal, and hfs, the mummy ride owns. Me, electro, hayoo, and waffles got seperated from the group- we had to put our bags in the lockers -_-

It was gonna rain so we headed to shrek, and out of freak chance the devs and starbum showed up. So we waited in line for an hour discussing things like AT maxes and more BFR things. The vanu hippys went and took pics of barney haha.

Then later that night, we headed to hard rock for a damn good meal. Hayoos whipping up these leet sketches on the back of his menu, (he did one on the back of mine, i got him to sign it too..ill scan it later this afternoon) and we are chatting about the phantasm.

So now we have a phantasm sketch, psu staff will put it up later.

On the planetside sketch, aside from the phantam:

The BFRs we release a month from friday
The BFRs will fit under arches
The Vanu bfr concept is the flight model. You switch out "packs" at creation. You can tell which is which.
The NC bfr is a flight one
the TR one is *not* the flight one
The TR missle spam did *not* make it in..they will probubly add it later though
Weapons: 3 driver packs, 3 gunner packs

TR: dual bursters
Giant chaingun
thats all that they could remember

NC: giant shotgun
sparrows
Friggen Ion cannon. (I called that a month in advance)

VS: I didnt ask


In addition, the flight is jump jet based, but you will have sufficient fuel. You will be able to lean and shit, and it apperantly looks incredably bad ass.

In order to get strafing to look right, they have the bfrs hovering when they need to do so. They lift off the ground a little with jets in their shoes.

Some other cool stuff:

Little things that plagued us forever were brought to the devs attention,

I brought the maelstrom lash grenade going the the doors to t-ray.

Patchy brought the backpacks dissapearing instantly after they appear (norm is supposed to be 20 seconds min)

And we extended that, and got t-ray to write down to ask the coders to have the backpacks not decon while we are in it.


We brought a *ton* of commander things to them. The theme for the ask the devs was "orbital platforms"

Things like cr5s should be locked in there if they want certain things i.e. global chat, and give them a rts style screen.

In order to get a bfr: You need to cap 10 bases in core combat. You then get a "key" to a bfr which you can store in your locker later till you need it.

BFR recycle is 2 hours

YOU CAN HACK ENEMY BFRs!

BFRs CAN SQUISH PEOPLE!

All bfrs have siphon ntus

BFRs have siphon armor (walk up to a tank and jack some of their armor)

Currently, they are insanely overpowered. Vanguard down in 5 seconds. An orbital strikes *only takes down the shields*

AV is not "small arms"



Another interesting fact: all psuma attendes should be getting an in game merit commindation for attenending.

SOE is on board for next year. They will give us the grand tour and we will be doing things like empire specific paintball.

And finally, at epcot a few people including me split the cost at 5 bucks each for a plaque thing to put on the wall of that "leave a legacy thing" It says PSUMA 2004, and when its up, someone (possibly me) will run back out there and take a pic of it.
