WAHOO! I've got a job!

Well, sort of. :o

I went out and got a slew of applications today.

Put in an E-Application at the kiosk in Albertsons. Got an application from Jamba Juice, Subway, and Chik-Fil-A. And then on the way home, I thought "Eh, what the hey, i'll talk to the manager at Two Brothers from Italy". Two Brothers from Italy is a local Pizza place. Some of you may know I worked at Pizza Factory for 5 months tossing pie's, so I have experience.

I walked in, he was making a sub for some other customers. He asked me what he could get me, I told him I was here to apply for a job. He told me that unfortunately he was only hiring cooks. I explained to him that, fortunately I have 5 months experience tossin .

He had me take off my jacket right then and there, and toss a friggin pizza.

He told me my skill was good, but that i'd have to adapt to their tossing style. They dont use pins, they crust their pie's, and they palm knead. I can pick up the style in 2 days work, guranteed

The catch is, I am on a 2 week probationary period. If I cant hack the work, I get cut. I highly doubt I wont be able to handle it, but if I dont make it after 2 weeks, i'll just turn in the apps I picked up today. PROFIT++

Cliffs:
1. Drive around town applying for jobs
2. Stop by Pizza Place
3. Toss Pizza for owner, hired on spot.
4. Start Monday @ 4:00pm
5. 2 week probationary period. If I suck during those 2 weeks, I get canned. If not, i'm on part time working 30 hours a week.

I'm psyched.

~$30 hrs /week @ $6.75 /hr = $775-800 /month



By the way, I talked to a little betty at Chik-Fil-A. She's 19, she FLEW OUT from Tennesee for the opening to train the new employee's. She asked my name, and we chit-chatted and I was so close to asking her out but then the manager lady handed me the application and I had to leave. She smiled at and eyed me the whole way out. UNF SHE WAS HOT!

That accent made me melt.

BTW, They just had a grand opening 2 days ago. They have the Chik-Fil-A cow dancing there in the costume. It was rad.
