One Year Later

Today marks the one year anniversary of PlanetSide Universe! On our long road to success there have been many bumps and bruises. From a tiny server on Ventures Online to 3 dedicated servers and our own IRC and Shoutcast network. PSU was the first website to break news of the beta, and the only site allowed to release 50 weekly beta shots. We have seen a few different styles one pictured here to the right and our forums have seen many different "feels" over time, once a close tight knit community of a few hundred is now browsed by thousands. However, those close knit few still browse or "whore" to this day. So without getting too long winded I want to take a second to thank a few people. First off I would like to thanks SOE for their support (and continued support) of our site. Without them helping us we would have gone the way of the buffalo many months ago. I would also like to thank Marsman, and my original core staff for all they did and have done through this year to help me make PSU a better place, our coders afex and powdahound turned the site into what it is today a dynamic and interactive site, and jupe gave PSU a professional look and appeal since day one with her original layout. And last but not least I want to thank you, the users for continuing to visit and support the site. For without you we would not even be here in this great community. Our users have taken a stand many times before helping us with costs - raising almost $2,000.00 total to support PSU over this past year.
