The trick is to fly low and then to put something between you and the origin point. Even a base wall is sufficient, but I always loved forests for that purpose. Duck into one of those and most of that clip is going to end up embedded in the 'ol concrete trees. You might take one or two shots but the only way to avoid that is to not take off. I got good enough at weaving through trees that I could usually lose mosquitoes with the same method.

Edit: It occurs to me that I fly a Lib though, which may color my view somewhat.
