9) The six infantry classes: light assault ("glass cannon"), engineer, medic, infiltrator, heavy assault, MAX.
I may be behind the times, but I personally had no idea that GALs could be mobile spawns, or that MAXs would have BFR-style weapon loadouts and flexibility. The EVE-Online skill system was also new to me  .
