Would you like to see a Sandbox continent?
A Sandbox continent would be an area that the higher ups in the faction don't have enough resources to spend going to. So they contract the individual outfits to secure the area for their own selfish needs in hopes of an easy takeover later. But the downside is that without official support from your faction, you have to build almost everything you need. Including your bases. And these bases could easily be destroyed. And services that you would usually take for granted would have to be handled manually. But the payoff is that the resources are that much richer and more valuable. The resources acquired would be especially good for upgrading your outfit's benefits or building tougher bases.
That's the basic idea. How the specifics handled is another story.
Would you like to see this? It's not something that you'd -have- to take part in, it's just a way to get resources and stuff a lot quicker.
