Even 3rd person views of the slaughter would be ok after base is taken, no intel lost, epeens get stroked. Even broadcast to other bases of latest news from your empire, with war correspondents and everything. This would look way better than a small message that Aton has been captured by the TR again. You can expand on this greatly, with "News from the Front Lines" after territory was captured.
