After watching the footage I have to say:

Holy crap, the game is actually COLORFUL.

I do not think I can stress enough how great that feels, to see so much color everywhere. Even the desert area seemed more red than brown, the nights are an almost eery blue, and the bases have so many different colored panels and doodads.

Another thing, was how colorful the characters themselves were. In many of the shots we had seen so far the characters seemed very dull, but in the videos from GDC they really popped (not to mention the fact that the shields on a soldier are his faction's color, nice touch).

It's really nice to see so many colors in a shooter. The colorful look really screams Planetside, and it is nice.
