Post-Demo Light Assault views

I know, still havent played Beta but:

After seeing the combat in the demo, does anyone else think the LA class is going to be the most irritating aspect of the game? The LA is jumping around on the roofs, throwing grenades and then jumping off again. I think its a bit too OP.
Whats the advantage for the rexo/medic/engy? extra armour? Not much point if you cant shoot at the guy up on the roof where you cant get to him.

They need to have really low health to be balanced in my opinion otherwise everyone and their gran is going to be LA.
