2 Movie recs for people that dislike shallow, transparent plots

1. Mullholland Drive
2. The Ring
Both star Naomi Watts, who by the way is VERY sexy. Very few movies make an impact on me, and most I have figured out no more than 30 minutes into the movie, but these two do not fall into that category. Mullholland Drive is a more complex film, and I don't recommend it if you don't want to spend 2 weeks after watching it, trying to figure out what you just saw.
Go rent em' if you haven't had the opportunity to view either.
BTW, I saw Mullholland Drive first, but I just saw The Ring tonight, and it reminded me of it.
