Hello all, first post for the key exchange. Been checking these forums and watching the show on a regular basis for around a year now. Never really had a reason to post or make a account since I never played PS1 I felt that my opinions are not justified.
Been PC gaming since I was 13. Grew up in a area without highspeed internet so I was stuck with singleplayer games till I moved out on my own. Thats how I missed out on planetside, didnt even bother trying to play it on 56k.
What I enjoy most about games is accomplishing a goal using teamwork. I dont care if I have to die 20 times and do nothing but heal as long as I can help secure the victory. I was very excited about BF3, joined a large gaming community with 300+ BF3 members, became one of a dozen officers, competed in tourny matches, but the game was just not as I expected. It was more about skill then teamwork, I have a good K/D 1.4 and W/L 1.6 ratio but the game just didnt give me the feeling of accomplishment.
Im hoping to find that in PS2 and from everything I hear I will. I joined Supertroopers and they have been really friendly and helpful. Most of them are already playing since they are vets and I look forward to joining them.
Other stuff about me. Im a mobile Xray tech. I am married with a 2yr old daughter, live on the ocean in west/central Florida, and spend the rest of my free time fishing. Thats about everything, hope to see you all ingame.
