If current subscribers was 500-1000 thats completely do-able but I've seen nothing but people posting about how they bought/resub'd these last few days following smeds statement.
Lets just say the # doubled and there are now 2000 current sub's (This number could be even higher I have no clue). Do you believe SOE will invited all of them on day 1?

EDIT: this is still based on the fact i'm assuming there is still only 1 US and 1 EU testing servers. (6000 people max)

I doubt it. PS1 still has no poplocks even with the incentive for people to activate to get into PS2.
