I was on 10th and thought about recording it, but neither Fraps or Dxtory would want to record the video (probably because it wasn't a hardware surface they could detect as a 'game' of sorts) and Camstudio is still refusing to record any audio for me...

in the future for fraps to get around this:

At the main interface check the box for monitor aero desktop (DWM)

This will allow you to record anything showing on your screen etc.
