Yes they do, again I point you to Exhibit A: Europe. Gun crime, murder rates and other forms of violent crime are extremely low in Europe due to people in general and therefore criminals as well, not having easy access to guns. Is there a 100% solution? No. Does it reduce violent crime to about a quarter or less in comparison to the USA?
