Brand new member here, name's Jack. Haven't played any Planetside yet though I did follow news about the first one. Really looking forward to PS2; I've heard such promising things about it. Just waiting on that beta application to get through.
I mostly play strategy games, rpgs, simulations (especially tycoon and trade games) but I always like to have a shooter somewhere in the rotation. Planetside 2 seems like exactly the right one. I grabbed Battlefield 3 for ten bucks on amazon over the weekend, and while it's cool it's just too...CoD and stressful. Looking forward to the large scale and progression of PS2.
Can't wait to learn from this community!
