PR24 I feel the same way. I've always been an nVidia guy too. People have to realize that the FX took longer for GOOD REASONS. They spent more time working on the .13 micron technology and many other things. They just got rushed at the end because ATI was releasing the 9700.
Zatrais: We can't really argue about drivers because ATI paid 3dmark for a 'subscription' before the software even came out so that they could tweak their cards to perform well in it. nVidia used to do that, but they didn't this time around.
And to those of you joking about nvidia dying like 3dfx: I hope you're not happy about that... Competition is what keeps the market going and the prices low. Besides, nvidia makes more than GPUs. This isn't their only source of income.
Personally I'm waiting for the next nvidia card, or maybe I'll end up getting an FX. We'll see.
