I'm a 55 year old gamer that's been itching to play Planetside since the original came out. I can't remember the exact reason, I think that the software cost too much and I was knee-deep into a game called City of Heroes so I never purchased the original game.

Well CoH was killed (won't say died, NCSoft killed it, but that's another story for another time) around the time that Planetside 2 was going into open beta I guess, so I decided to give it a try. Not very user friendly although I love playing, there's a LOT of info to process.

I've joined an outfit with a pretty good rep, and hopefully that will give me some much needed instruction and I can be an asset to the outfit and increase my enjoyment of the game by increasing my knowledge.
