Some quick preliminary feedback on GU07:
Severe AA Aspis turret Nerf - The nerf to the AA turret has been extreme. The trajectory has been completely changed. I don't even know if the trajectory is lower or higher. Sometimes they magically hit at point at range (feels like the bullets are straying but it's still hitting even with the drop). Sometimes you hit when you compensate for large drops. It's that bad. They need to check this real quick. Point blank shooting is complete miss. What in the world did they do? The Aspis turret is already the most fragile and vulnerable turret target, getting wrecked by Liberators with shredder/tank buster in about 3 seconds and it still warrants a nerf? As it is, that AA is completely useless with severe misses. Haven't tested out the AV turret yet if it's affected as well. The AI turret I've tried and it's ok. See, they unecessarily buffed the AV turret (the last update) and now they nerfed the Aspis turret that needed a survivability buff. Now the AA turret has low survivability and a very, very low chance of hitting (much less destroying a moving target, with low profiles too boot). Engineer Repair Tool Nerf - Remember the level 5 engineer tool can repair a turret with 2 ticks over the halfway point? Now it's 1 tick over the halfway point. I'm not sure if they nerfed the lower levels too but logically they would have. edit: note, it's possible they increased the turret HP instead, but that's was my usual measure of engineer repair kit. New Rocket Launcher reload animation - Great. It feels like, even picking up ammo is faster now as well. Longer SCU takedown - Any noticed this? They seemed longer. Imo, this is an excellent change. It promotes longer fights. Imo, it should be even longer. Universal UI change - The wholesale UI upgrades are excellent. From the camo, to the minimap colors to the new informations in the full map. Now, players can actually read what's actually going on in the map. I know they were from the test server as well as the new turret shielding to help us engineers. But, great welcome additions. One thing they missed is the resupply problem of old. Example: I use 2 mines. I go back to the console to resupply. 1) I have to click the left side "resupply" then the "+" resupply button will then activate only after that. We should be able to click the "+" key at all times as long as we have resources. Why do we have to click twice over? It's redundant. New Helmet camo coverage - It makes the composite helmet look so badass now as before it was drab and dull looking. Post your GU07 feedback, especially the undocumented ones.
