I'm more concerned about DX11, but with this games ram usage I guess 64-bit could address some issues. With the PS4 having a DX11 GPU, I don't see any reason to have a purely DX9 engine during this day and age. Be nice to see at least a DX11 patch for PS2 akin to what Blizzard did with WoW.

For actual teams. I don't think its a major shock if EQ next has a larger development team compared to PS2. I only hope PS2 is left with enough people if they were taken away to keep making improvements on the game. Be sad to see a graveyard team like what happened with PS1.
