Market Place, Gifting and You.

So I was thinking the other night how gifting will be implemented (scheduled around the December holidays) and this got me thinking about how they could sensibly utilise it. A system I'd like to see is where you can "sell" your unwanted guns/camos/cosmetics on a player generated market for SC.
People all have that "I regret buying" purchase whether a weapon that got changed or a cosmetic that you don't like any more; you can't sell these back to SOE and you're effectivley stuck with them; however there's likely someone out there that would want it and snap it up at a reduced cost. So why not introduce a player driven sales market where say I buy a camo at 500sc from SOE and now I want to sell it I then re-sell it at 300SC via the Station Player Store.
I think that gifting could open up a potential out of game sales market where SOE miss out on the money and have items being "sold" in a similar way to which you get these currency farmers in games like EQ2 etc.
If SOE control the methods and give the access of something like this it will enable players who don't have a huge amount of regular SC to buy something as a hand me down from another player, it also lets the original purchaser recoup an amount of his SC on item x that wasn't to his liking and also keeps players buying SC in the longer term. End of the day SOE are not going to allow a player to refund the original amount because you've grown tired of the item.
It's also a simple case of an item becoming unpurchased and unregistered to account number 1 and becoming active on the other player's account. If they decide to re-purchase it later player 1 either has to use the SOE or Player store.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how you would want to see gifting implemented?
