Exp for time played would be better than this.

Consider
1 People play the game because they want to fight - exp is in the game to retain players - its not there to drive combat.
2 Currently the xp system is driveing combat decisions. People are abandoning bases rather than defend if theres bad odds. This really isnt good design.
Only receive exp for time spend out of the safe zone - if you try to afk for exp youll get ganked.
Honestly I think the game would be more fun with this system.
