Infiltrators! What gun do YOU use?

This is a question directed at all the infiltrators in all 3 factions.
Do you use the common pool AMP or your faction specific sidearm?
If you use the faction specific sidearm, how much rounds does it usually take for you to kill someone in reinforced armor with full health?
I'm NC at the moment and I seem to like the AMP. I'm usually able to kill someone with about 20 rounds more or less.
I've heard that the scattergun can 3 shot anyone in reinforced so I'm trying to get some other opinions.
The TR repeater also seems to be a widely used weapon but I have never seen a Vanu using the Beamer.
