Im sure Elf boy can find some game, somewhere, where those weapons were done before.

Despite that, they are good, original ideas for a futuristic FPS. Im sure we could all think up any number of original ideas. The point is, so could the devs... but they didnt. Not because they codnt, but because they chose not to.

They (most likely with the marketing department) decided to do the least amount of effort possible and still hook people with the MM concept. They did it.

Now its just a matter of seeing if the subscribers exodus like they did with AC2... or if SOE gets a reality check and decides to blow us aways with content (content that should have been in on release).
