I had an idea last night, and I wanted to know:
a) would it work
b) would it make sense to do so
Ok, the brief scenario, last night on Amerish we Vanu were getting steamrolled base to base by a rather effective and large TR zerg. We would defend a base for a few minutes, then lose it to the hack. The TR would move on to the next and repeat.
Now the defending Vanu had no chance to really stop the TR. We were badly outnumbered. So here comes my strategy:
Would it make sense in this scenario to go behind the lines to a base already taken by the TR and blow up the generator? the base would need to be in the lattice to the newer taken bases. If this base was their sole lattice link to the newer bases they were taking, would it stop their advance since the changes to hacking in the latest patch? IE, when the base goes neutral, would the lattice be broken? Or do we need to hack it back (which we can't do because of the lattice)?
Does this even work or do they not lose the lattice from the neutral base? Am I just spending too much time in the sun?
