It's that time again, recently I lost my job due to state budget cuts. I am looking of course, but the job market is a bit busted up right now. Anyway, I will not be able to fully cover PSU's costs out of my own pocket for the next month or two, until I find a job. Currently PSU runs a little over $500/mo for all our servers and space. I have several options, first we can start charging for outfit hosting, start charging for forums (chances of that are slim), cut services (IRC, AGN etc), or raise funds. The last PSU fundraiser was a huge success, we raised over $1000 to update all our hardware and purchase new servers. Last month I had to purchase our 3 servers outright, which cost me a bit of money in itself. Also I have been researching advertising for the last month or two, and have come to the conclusion that there is really no money in it. Not only that, everywhere I had applied to had already met their quota's for gaming sites. So that is not an option anymore. If I am able to raise a healthy chunk of money we will have no problems.
