After playing all the flyables, and being a sim fan, i've come to the conclusion that the pilots and navigator (where applicable) do not have enought POV access.
In Today's birds, like the A10 for exemple (which flys low), the pilot is required to look around all the time. Especially due to incoming IR missile launchs, which cannot be detected by RWR. (i won't go into details).
In the case of the Harrier and other Helicopters, the pilots need good periferal vision (POV) to look around at low speed, when carrier, droping or extracting someone or something. Also to land.
Unfortunatly, in FS, there are no such thing.
As it was in Operation Flashpoint for exemple, a special Key to be pressed to turn the 'Head' instead of the whole body, to look around, would be really appreciated in the game.
Since i'm in the Cockpit business (first person view), why isn't there a few gauge to tell proper Altitude and heading? I presume in the futur it would be even more sophisticated, and i'm sure even with an 'arcade' feel, it could be possible to add a little 'Altitude meter in 'numbers' instead of a wierd icon-like arrow that tells you how 'high' you are.
Any comments on this?
