My Weird Internet Connection

Okay, i'm hooked up the internet through my colleges server. At least thats how I think it works.
Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast don't work over the internet. It stops at awaiting gamestate.
Do you think I won't be able to get planetside to work either? I have the 7-day trial downloaded, but I don't want to activate it until I know it'll work.
