An old trick, but a useful one

I learned this trick from PSU a whiles back and I thought some newer players might benefit from it...

If you're a fan of the plasma thumper, but you're sick of changing ammo types every time you select an inventory favorite, change the ammo type in the thumper and then save it as a favorite. Every time you select that favorite, you'll be wielding a plasma thumper (or emp grenades, if that's your thing). It also works with AP ammo.

Also, you can take Combat Engineer and fill your vehicle favorites with ACEs and NanoDispensers so wandering engineers will be able to repair you or deploy minefields. If you forget CE later, you'll still be able to get those items in your trunk.
