Since this is a younger audience I have a question for you all. After you get out of high school, what do you plan to do? I am really curious to see how perspectives have changed over the last five years, and upwards of five years into the future.
I know this is a geekier crowd then most, so it will be slightly skewed towards the Information Technology field, but still should be interesting to see.
Five years ago 90% of respondents would have said they were going straight from high school to get their BS in Computer Science, then right on to a dot com company making $100k a year as an administrator, designer, or developer.
Now with the IT market as terrible as it is, especially for 150,000 developer jobs lost last year, I am curious to see if students are changing their views on what they want to be, or if there is still a heavy emphasis on computer repair, network administration, and in general computer work.
Oh, and before I get the stop posting please smiley, I wont make any new posts for a few days
