If you have a friend that plays already, you can pick up the basics in no time. The game is so deep, that you are the one who decides how repetitive it gets. (ex: if all you do is xp whore then it will get boring. unless you are a whore.
) Once you get into parties and go on missions and such, the game slowly takes priority over all other games. I'm having a blast playing it ATM. I recommend it.
