Dad's Nextel + Browser. I logged on to the forums. I had to sort through like 3 pages before I could find the most recent post in the Lounge (visible from the main forum page) because with a cell phone, EVERY SINGLE LINK IS DISPLAYED. Think about it. How many links can YOU find, bearing in mind that the browser can only do 9 at a time.
I got into the thread, and I say Strygun's post, fearing that it was an error on my phone. There was a 'Reply' box, which I filled in. Then I just submitted it. Apparently, there are 5 big drawbacks: 1: Only works on my dad's phone. Mine is broken, and even so, doesn't have a Web subscription. 2: I don't always have access to his. 3: Instead of filling the post in normally, it does so in the title. An entire post can show up in the title area of a reply. 4: Writing on a cell phone is slow as ASS. 5: For some reason, I'm subscribed to any post I reply to. And I don't have any e-mails. I hope they didn't go to the phone.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
