I saw someones post on the Patriot acts here and wondered what a more conservative would say. First, I tried to post a link to the website mentioned in the thread here On
www.freerepublic.com and ask what they would say in response. They wouldn't allow me to link to a libral site. I decided to copy the text into the body and clearly state that I was looking for pollitical guidance rather than trieing to force libral ideas down there throats. They immediantly pulled the thread claiming it was a duplicate. I tried to re word it so that it would be different and again clearly stated that I just wanted another opinion. When i went to click the final posting boutton,I found out that they had banned my account! Banned for what they claimed to be a duplicate! I was confused, so I created another account and posted a new thread in disbelief asking politely, 'Why was I banned?" Guess what, thread pulled and account banned!
Sorry for the rant, but I needed a place to let of some steam. The Free Republic website obviously wouldn't tolerate anything that diddn't fit into there very narrow minded beliefs. they diddnt even have the curtiousy to tell me why I was banned. It was only after I talked to my dad, who is a regular on the site, that I found out what there polocy was: Instant banning for anyone who does anything, even the smallest thing, out of line.
