Update2: If you received a beta email, it is in violation of the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) to tell people that you received the email. --So use a roundabout way of telling people! :-) Just kidding, don't sue me SOE...please.
Update: I just found this thread in which Sporkfire says only 500 people were accepted in this round of beta.
Sporkfire confirmed that the Core Combat Beta acceptance emails have been sent today. This is only the first round, but it's definatly a good start. Here's what Spork had to say: <blockquote>We are pleased to announce that we are sending out the first round of PlanetSide: Core Combat beta acceptance emails today. If you have been accepted into the beta test, you will be receiving your invitation later today.
If you do not receive an acceptance letter, you may still be accepted into later rounds of the test. If you have not yet applied for the Core Combat beta, the
Beta Application is still open.
If you are accepted please be sure to abide by the Non-Disclosure Agreement and not discuss your participation in the beta test through the public forums (the ones you are reading now). You'll have your own set of forums to discuss your experience and suggestions.</UL>Stay tuned for more up to date information on the CC beta.
