The Holy Grail, of the cavern excursions are the ancient modules. Finding a module in the caverns is only half the battle, you must then transport the module to a friendly base to receive the benefits. If you played Planetside and know how interesting nanite runs could be and an idea of the chaos that can ensue transporting, capturing and installing these ancient modules at bases. Enemies can steal the modules from your base and install it at their own, or even intercept module runners (which is where I think SOE was hoping the urban cavern combat would come into play) before they reach their final destination. Modules are divided into 6 categories: Equipment, Vehicle, Pain, Health, Shield and Speed.
