The 9 "PS2 beta Q1 2012" ...

I remain skeptical about any information out of chinia, Tony Park and the 9.

however, this is the news post:

When being asked at The 9th Digi China, TonyPark, the vice president of The9, claimed that Fire Fall and PlanetSide will be firstly launched on American market. After all the beta phases, then PlanetSide 2 will be shipping to China market. The first beta of PlanetSide 2 will be kicked off someday in Q1, 2012 .
