Anything that they dont have planned like naval combat, space combat, PvE etc gets a reply of "yeah, maybe we'll see after release" so that the person asking the question is not put off from the game.
I honestly doubt you will see any kind of naval or space combat because it's just not something that they seem bothered about or it would have been mentioned more frequently and be in for release or just after. Maybe it will appear in some sort of expansion but your looking at 3 maybe 5 years down the line.
