Staff Sergeant Sando was where he felt most at home, behind the control grid of a Reaver assault gunship. he was flying with 'Nap of the Earth' navigation, flying low in the contours of the valleys and plains of Auxaris on his patrol route. a loud hum filled the air as an enemy mosquito in the Red and Black flew right across his route. the New Conglomerate soldier radioed his base of origin, and took off in pursuit. the enemy mosquito was obviously checking a planned route. headed straight for...

"Alpha sector, i should've guessed." said the pilot of the blue and gold craft.

Alpha sector is the location of a base vital to maintain the air superiority of the new conglomerate in this continent.

The pilot increased his thrusters to maximum burn and was on the mosquito's tail when the thing performed an awkward turn in the cloud cover and began to atack Sando's reaver. Sando dived, ducking under the line of heavy fire, and retaliated with a rocket. his opponent dodged, and Sando flew into cloud cover. his opponent flew in, hoping to chase him out. he came out and, most ironically, looked up to see Sando's reaver flying inverted above him. to his fury, Sando told him who was 'number 1' (..|.,) before disengaging and flipping right-way up. the mosquito dived and accelerated. sando watched in quiet victory as his opponent flew staight between his crosshairs. his gunship's twin heavy 20mm machine guns let loose a continued burst, and two rockets, one from each launcher, followed, as a coup-de-grace. the skeet dodged the fire from the MGs but the two missles impacted, causing fatal damage to the Mosquito. the small craft exploded in a ball of fire and crashed to the ground in a jumble of wreckage. Sando flew back to home base, to spraypaint another Red mosquito onto his Reaver, alongside a number of purple and Red reavers and mosquitos already there. he also wanted to be there in person when he found out what his new assignment was.
