Personally, I was using a laptop for browsing the web in front of the TV if something caught my interest; the tablet is much better because it doesn't get as hot, isn't as heavy, and is 'on' instantly rather than waiting for boot up or recover from sleep mode.
I also carry it around the house with me, use it for getting recipes if i'm in the kitchen, or song tabs if i'm feeling musical, or catching up on TV programmes on the BBC iPlayer without having to get out of bed on a weekend morning... fantastic little gadget  |
