Well, I usually don't do these intro forums, but it was recommended on the other thread that I ought to.
I'm a Team Fortress 2 fanatic, and one of the Battlefield refugees. I believe 2142 was the best title put out in the franchise, but like so many others, I was sorely disappointed with BC2, and I have been so sickened by DICEA's lies that I ended up not buying BF3, and cancelling my orders for new PC parts.
Everything I've read so far tells me that Planetside (and 2) is a vision of Battlefield on a monstrous scale. And it seems like the first one was well balanced and the dev's truly want to make a great game. If they want it F2P, then they sure as hell better.
Can't wait to give PS2 a shot.
