First off, a heads up for all BDx members still out there, we've renewed our alliance with Armored Fist and we'll be building up new forums together with Armored Fist over at http://armoredfist.org
Best to use Chrome or Firefox to login, IE can create login issues. Sites: Outfit forums: http://armoredfist.org Steam Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/BrutalDeluxePSNCW BDx Summary Empire: NC Server(s): EU (ex-Werner) Intended outfit size: Small-Medium Type: Resecure / Special Ops / Raiding Primary units: Ground Transport / Armour Attitude: Relaxed, but competitive Rules: 'Gentleman' Rules Recruitment: Open Who are we? Established in 2003 on Werner, Brutal-Deluxe was, is and always will be dedicated to serving the New Conglomerate, doing those tasks in and out of zerg the empire needs most, while having the most fun in doing so. Our members are from all over Europe, though mostly north and western Europe. We can be found doing resecures, at on-cont-behind-the-lines ops, base drains, cont-openings or simply in the thick of battle. Throughout the history of PlanetSide we have always been a small to medium sized outfit, with good relations within and outside of the outfit. We have always been open to work with any other outfit within the NC community, but we also feel it is important to have respectful relationships with our enemies. Our outfit is therefore known for cooperating and coordinating with other outfits from 1337fit to zergfit to built upon and amplify each others strengths to great effect. It is after all our philosophy to have a healthy and competitive relationship with other PlanetSide outfits, to ensure everyone in game is having fun fighting with or against us. What are our strengths? We are about optimizing the element of surprise, trying different and original approaches, doing what nobody expects anyone to do and in doing so being as unpredictable as humanly possible. Our main expertise in combat in PS1 has always been the use of Ground Transportation and armour. We are specialists in amphibious combat, using the Deliver and Deliverer Variants for raiding enemy bases through sneak attacks, flanking bridgeheads and taking out enemy armour from unexpected sides. When NC are without MBTs, our groups of GT units form a hard nut to crack for enemy armour and infantry alike. Our Sunderer drivers know how to avoid detection for a good drop and work in teams to deliver NC troops safely at their destination. In PS2 we expect the Sunderer to again be key in many of our strategies and will be looking forward to any amphibious units we can get our hands on, to smash them Magriders back into the purple pulp fiction they are. We also house some of the most experienced infiltrators and cloakers (yes, there is a difference) of NC Werner within our outfit, who are known for accomplishing tasks against impossible odds, resecuring bases right under the enemy's nose and being able to get into any base or tower, regardless of how well guarded it is or who is doing the guarding. If there is an opening, you can be sure our infils will find and exploit it! You see those bases your empire cannot breach for 5 hours straight? Give us ten minutes and we'll create an opening for the rest of the empire to exploit. When our infils work as siege engineering saboteurs, we're unrivaled. Our ethics We are a gentleman's outfit, meaning we have our own rules and quirks. Rather than age, we select our members on maturity. What we look for in a player:
What we are not about:
Of course, that doesn't mean we'll let VS or TR win. Last edited by Figment; 2012-06-14 at 03:24 PM. |
