Overkilling(probably?), yet again.

1. What is your budget and does that include shipping/taxes?
Sub $4k AU, ill pickup, but get it built by them.

2. Where do you live?
Melbourne Australia, generally buy from: http://www.scorptec.com.au

3. What do you need this computer to do (like gaming, Photoshop, and so on)? typically gaming, but i use photoshop, i record and edit etc.

4. What parts will you need for the computer? Please list what parts specifically. prettymuch everything, i dont need a soundcard(ill use onboard) or peripherals though.

5. Are you reusing any parts for this computer? If so please say what parts.
negative

6. What kind of monitor/resolution do you have or want to get to use for the computer?
definitely playing on atleast 1920 x 1200, but i may endup doing 3 monitor for PS2.

7. Do you have a legit OS? If so what OS and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
ill need another copy of win 7 64

8. What are you looking for the motherboard to have feature wise? Like SLI,
Crossfire, Firewire, USB 3.0, Sata 6.0 Gb/s, and so on.
will prob need crossfire though plan to use only 1 card initially.

9. Any plans to overclock the CPU or GPU?
probably not.

10. What time kind of time frame are you planning on ordering these parts?

just getting back upto speed with what i should be buying, chipsets, core, amount of ram etc. i was probably going to wait for a 7990?...NFI when they're coming out though, would like to have it pre june 30th to slip it in for this years tax.

So i was looking at:
Gigabyte x79 UD5(maybe dont need the UD5...its what a got atm, worked out rather well sofar...)

intel 3930k

Corsair 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 2133mhz Dominator GT DDR3

Intel 240GB SSD, 2.5", 520 Series, SATAIII, Read 550MB/s, Write 520MB/s x2 in raid 0. (i install all my games and programs on master drive, cbfed uninstalling and reinstall shit 20g games all the time, using a 300g velociraptor atm, and its generally full)

Samsung SH-B123L 12x Blu-ray Combo Drive - 5.25" internal SATA, Blu-ray Reader & DVD Burner.

Sapphire Radeon HD7970 (925Mhz), 3GB GDDR5 (5500Mhz) (this for now, but yea would change to 7990 prob depending on release date)

Thermaltake ToughPower GRAND 1200W (defiantly want modular)

Western Digital 2TB Caviar Black, SATA III, 7200RPM, 64MB

if anybodys got thoughts on tripple moniter too that would be cool. im using a samsung 27inch atm, but i think its edges are alittle fat. and its 1920 x 1200, though i think infintyeye can use 3 1920x1200 moniters anyway? so it may not be a problem.
