Thank you Matt and the entire team for supporting the community in a way I have never seen before in another game. We had a great level of interaction with PlanetSide but it was nothing like it is with this game. Thank you for coming on these forums and answering questions, posting comments and participating with the community. And for posting pictures on Twitter keeping us all interested and excited about PlanetSide 2 even in early development.
I'm probably one of the few here who has had the chance to meet most of the dev team and they are as much linked to us as we are to them. The devs all know about the community, they are all reading these forums on a regular basis even if they don't post. They have built an amazing team and raised the bar for community interaction so high I don't think anyone else could ever think of attempting to surpass it.
Higby, T-Ray and the crew are just as awesome in person as they are online.
I am proud of the community that has built around this game and I am excited to welcome so many new faces into this community and game we all love. It's been a hard road with lots of bumps along the way. But the Team at SOE has helped support us the entire way through. And let's not forget RadarX who gets to personally listen to me vent on numerous occasions
This community has a partnership with SOE, and PlanetSide 2 that cannot be rivaled. I for one cannot wait to see where this road continues to take us. On to many more awards and hours of fun in PlanetSide 2!
If you have the means and the cash, I encourage people to go to SOE Live this year so you can meet many of the devs in person. It has the potential to be a great event - let's make it one!
