(Idea) An alternative continent
|
|
A relatively circular continent with three floating islands; one for each warp-gate. The three islands are made of ice, and are therefore not attached to the ground. The sea around the main continent has a circular torrent, which means that the three islands slowly rotate around the main continent (perhaps a 5 day cycle?). Each small island has a bridge that extends over to the main continent, which is unattached, since the torrent would break it.
A dynamic continent like this will completely change the distribution of territory, going from a more compact, predictable distribution, to a more sporadic one.
Also, since no faction has their warp-gate specific biome, there will be absolutely no issue about whether one biome is better than another.
What do you guys think?
