So after hearing the Vanu Sovereignty OST. I tried to figure out why I didn't like it. I like electronic music a lot, but I just don't think the VS music is appropriate.
What I've realized is I don't think the current music is nearly militaristic enough. The music should feel like an army could march to war to it. And it just doesn't feel that way with the current music.
My suggestion instead, while certainly not perfect, would be something along the lines of segments of this Infected Mushroom track.
Now back this up with more electronic instrumentation more reminiscent of classical music, and less of Tron: Legacy and I think we'd have something much more appropriate.
Thoughts? Other tracks that you think would be good?
